2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by an external provider. When you visit, technically necessary data is processed (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system) to deliver the site securely. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Log data is deleted after a short period.
3. No cookies, no trackers
This website uses no cookies, no analytics or advertising services and no social media plugins. Whether you have confirmed the privacy notice is stored only locally in your browser and never transmitted.
4. Fonts
The Poppins font is loaded directly from this server. No connection is made to Google or other font providers.
5. Contact by email, phone or WhatsApp
If you contact me, I process your details to answer your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). For WhatsApp, the privacy policy of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. also applies; data may be transferred to the USA.
6. Booking calendar (Smoobu)
For availability and bookings I use Smoobu (Smoobu GmbH, Berlin). The calendar only loads once you click “Load calendar”. Only then is a connection to Smoobu made and your IP address transmitted. Details you enter when booking are processed to fulfil the contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
7. Booking.com
This site contains links to Booking.com. You only reach their site when you click; Booking.com's privacy policy applies there.
8. Storage period
I store personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods (e.g. tax and commercial law).
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate.
